Chris is the Founder & Principal of Imperium Wealth Management. His primary responsibility is constructing and managing client portfolios through ongoing security analysis, selection, and economic evaluation. Chris forms the firm’s investment and financial planning philosophy, ensuring that these two components are coordinated effectively. Beyond this, he is responsible for firm management, and ensuring that Imperium’s clients receive outstanding service, as well as, premier advice.
Chris has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. His background has provided him with positions in every aspect of the financial planning and investment management process from client services to portfolio management.
Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Heather is responsible for managing, organizing, and implementing the client services and operations at Imperium. On a daily basis, she is involved in all areas of the firm’s financial planning and portfolio management process. She assists in capturing client data, forming plan design, analyzing client investment profiles, and evaluating tax planning strategies. Beyond that, she also handles the execution of financial planning recommendations, such as account construction and mechanics to making sure clients receive funds on time. She ensures client requests are handled in a timely manner and in the most convenient way possible for the client.
Heather has passed her Series 65 license exam and is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a concentration in business from St. Mary’s University, while being a collegiate athlete in softball on scholarship. She is originally from Shiner, Texas.

Ruth Martinez is a Certified Public Accountant with years of experience in both public accounting and industry sectors. Her public accounting experience was with Ernst & Young in the San Antonio Tax practice within the Personal Financial Services group. Her experience in this group included providing tax services to high-net-worth individuals and their family businesses encompassing filing returns, estimated payments, extensions, and other requested services. In an industry setting, her experience includes monthly close and month-end writeups for internal and external reporting such as preparation of consolidated financial statements including the balance sheet and statement of cash flows. Additionally, she reviewed general ledger transactions to ensure the accuracy of the entries recorded. With exposure to both sectors, Ruth can understand the impacts of transactions from tax and accounting perspectives.
Ruth was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting and a Master’s degree of Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
